This is a beautiful lodge with some first class management. Andre and his wife Bridget are wonderful people who have kept the lodge looking great and exceptionally clean. It is very reasonably priced compared to other lodges I have stayed at. Wonderful location that you can drive to which makes it that much better. Decent fishing on our first trip to Caribou, we did land some nice sized walleye although we did have to contend with mother nature. Looking forward to a return trip to Forrest Lodge. UPDATE: Just returned from my second trip to Forrest and again we were not disappointed with the place! It's a great lodge and Andre is always working on upgrades. Starting to get to know the lake better and as a result we had a couple of really good days fishing. Looking forward to a return next year.

Forrest Lodge is a great place for a family vacation. We have stayed August 2020 and July 2021 and reserved the Walleye Retreat for 2022 due to the great fishing with a clean and comfortable lodge for our family of 5. Cabin has all amenities from steak spice, cooking items and new appliances to a hot water shower, 24/7 electricity and comfortable mattresses for great sleep throughout our stay. Our kids did not miss their friends or tech due to the available fish and great fishing everyday at Caribou Lake. We caught fish in a variety of spots around the lake everyday of our 6 day stay. We were amazed at the scenery 24/7 with wild life, beautiful sunsets and quiet nights. Caribou Lake is clean and untouched. Lodge managers Andre and Bridget are available and willing to provide anything to ensure your trip is nothing but exceptional. We appreciated the privacy and exceptional value of this fishing lodge. Highly recommended for family vacations!

First time to Forrest Lodge with my 2 boys and 4 grandsons. Everyone loved it. Fishing was good, very nice boats, comfortable lodge, and a great fish cleaning building! The teenagers also enjoyed the swim raft and new sauna when not fishing or on the lodge’s WiFi. Andre and Bridgette who manage the lodge are wonderful people who are very sociable and customer centric. The new owners are systematically updating all 9 cabins with most already done. It is a fly in type location that you can drive to. My wife and I will be back before the end of season and the boys want to make it an annual trip. What else do I need to say?

My stay at Forrest Lake Lodge was nothing less than exceptional. The location of the lodge is something everyone can appreciate. It is far enough from civilization that you can completely disconnect, but close enough to the little town of Armstrong if a pitstop is needed. The cabins are extremely cozy. They are set alongside the shoreline allowing you to further take in the outdoors while inside. However, the most exceptional part of the experience was the friendliness of the owners and staff. They made my family feel like their family with a community fish fry, where the fish was the best we have ever ate. And let me tell you the homemade TarTar sauce made it extra special. I will definitely be back, and am very much looking forward to it!

Forrest Lodge is the best place to stay in Ontario. We spent a week at Forrest Lodge in September 2022. The cabin and lodge were extremely comfortable and clean. The kitchen, bathroom bedding, grill, stove and refrigerator were all new. Even the boat was new. Including a Helix locator and a trolling motor with spot lock. We targeted Walleye and found the fishing to be top notch. The managers, Andre and Bridget were extremely accommodating keeping us in bait, fuel, ice and sharing lake knowledge. We will be back next year.
